  • What a mess

No not the Sunderland game at 6-2 (although, there again) but the gulls .....

After returning from hols and finding so much to do I have been a bit neglectful and not visited Slinky Kate in a number of weeks.
I visited today to find devestation ........ Poor slinky up to the gunnels in gulls sh1t ...... What a mess ...
Would have taken pictures but you may have read this just before eating - not good.

Anyway after an hour or so of wash and brush I can report she is sparkling like a new sparkling thing once again .....

Took a stroll further along the pontoons and I think we are just about in a safe place, any further out from the root and the carpark just gets even worse.

Must make a note "visit EVERY week"

WHY WAS THERE NO MENTION OF FOOTBALL RESULTS LAST WEEK!!!

On the plus side, if gulls are sh@tting on your boats it means they aint sh@tting on my car (well not at the same time anyway)
          Cheers, Keith.

When walking round the marina's and estuary moorings down south, lots of boats have those spinning whatyoumacallits on the cabin roofs worked by the wind. They seem to help a lot

              Gulls

Scaring gulls is almost impossible. So used to people feeding them chips. Building near me has a big eyed model owl on top keep them off and they just roost beside it like its part of the family
