Welcome back to the marina Dave :0)

At the end of all the pontoons from Mid October until late March it is a waste of time trying to keep the boat clean, they come in during the night and spend the night on the boats and ponttons.

The marina staff chase them and try alsorts but end result is the same i.e poop every inch or so. If you move down the pontton towards the car park you get alot less, during the summer months its 99% gone thou.
