ebay/paypal is definately off my christmas list

just suffered a reversal so am down £350 and a radio

apparently, as a seller you get bugger all by way of protection. sell summats, get paid by paypal...then anything upto 120 days later...

buyer tells his credit card company that he didn't buy that, they reverse it and take it back off paypal, paypal take it back off you - despite using dhl and having the thing tracked and signed for at his registered address

would suggest you contact the police, and trading standards and DHL.

trading standards - its in paypal's (very) small print that they can do this!

DHL have sent all the delivery confirmation stuff

Old Bill... nice thought, but the likelihood of them doing anything, or getting anything back is........

Is the braid from China as good a quality as the braid manufactures we are more used ? ?

I`ve had everything from fairly expensive model aircraft engines and cameras down to £1.50 velcro tie wraps from china, no probs (quick where is that wooden block to touch) only difference is it generally takes 5 to 10 days, but then again that sometimes happens from 5 mile down the road .....
just my own personal experiences of course others may think different.

                        cheers

eBay and using paypal in general as a seller is a complete rip - you lose 15% straight away...much rather do cash sales where possible

                            Hi Mark,
Have you still got a number or email addres for them? If you ring and speak to them they may realise there is a human cost to what they are doing.
It must be easier to steal of someone you have not had to speak to or seen face to face.
Off course, if you sent someone round to remind them of what they had bought, the police would sharp be intrested then.

                              whaddya do!

He's in lancs, and ironically I'll be about 15 miles from his address tomorrow

sure as eggs is eggs if you knock on the door he'll as likely go bleating to the old bill himself

normally I'd be pretty philosophical about. have used ebay since it first started 12 years ago and this is the first ever issue, well ironically the second in a week.

the other joker - sent him a 10" chartplotter. without contacting me - ebay dispute, significantly not as described so he gets his money back and returns it

it arrives you sign for it (who opens and thoroughly checks a parcel before it arrives??)

and then lo and behold I discover the bugger has had the back off and removed the invertor board - I assume to fix one he has already
