Hi all, With all these fish being caught on shads, decided to have a look on ebay as to what I should try. There were 3", 4", 5" and so on, ones with weights in them or just soft un-weighted, different colours, so a bit of advice would be greatly appreciated lads.

you'll not go wrong with that advice arthur, we're using all three of those, the storm, the sidewinder minnow and the hollow belly. All excellent

Also been using a lesser known brand of shad with no less a catch rate than the "leading brands"...like Ray has said before it's all in the tail action and these ones are pretty good
most Shads have a lead insert in the head end of the shad - some, like the hollow bellys need a seperate lead headOoh a new vid!

Tried many dhads, twintails and eels..on the day fish on everything that was put down...blue and orange best colours...type of shad they all fish about the same thou i go for ones that dont lose the tail easy and have abit extra lead inside them.
Pick from the list above and give them a try...as stated if the fish feeding you will catch on any type as long as you get the action out of them................__................................ .............................

Agree with previous posts Used these in norway last year, and they were deadly (but what isnt over there)
Tryed them over here once in the kayak, and had a few fish. Gonna give them more of a go this year.
