    Just ordered some for the pirking department of ower organisation !!
    I know some of you chaps already use it ........... i`m willing to give it a bash,just a few questions tho about preperation of pirks !!
    Do you have to put on a base coat and a coat of varnish after or laquer any input will be greatfully accepted

    Hi Bert,

    As you know , I use \"Coovar\" lumi and dayglow . They have their own undercoat but any standard emulsion will do for this , it just adds a bit density under the final coat . I have tried laquer on the finnished coat but it\'s not required m8 .The finnish is better without it with my favourite being flouro orange or if the water is murky lumi .

      If it\'s water based will it not wash off in the water???? Assuming the pirk lasts long enough to hit the bottom lol

          Never does for me Keith , as you say they don\'t last long enough anway lol . I was thinking of trying a one coat (solo perhaps ? ) for better density but I\'ve had nee bother like so far .

            varnish coating then mate ??or even put them in a carrier bag

              To be honest Bert the varnish made them look crap , it got kicked into touch early doors .
