      norman your right about the genral size of the fish although did pull the odd one up to 13lb last year however found they were all in excellent condition and scrappy, funny enough I found yellow mupppets seemed to sort the bigger ones out as for the Bass seems that peeler is the bait of choice, given that the water is fairly shallow I have a daft idea that plugs from the boat might work?.
      Gary dont know Bob whats the name of his boat?.
