Yes, the modern self inflating ones are unobtrusive, we should all wear them really, but during the summer they leave bad tan lines.
Sorry to Tony, hi jacked your thread a bit here, so what were your thoughts on the deck shoes Tony ??

yeah looked at "Divers Boots" and came up with...

Oceanic Neo Classic 6.5mm Diving Boots - Only £32.25 - Mike's Dive Store, Chiswick, London

My only worry is that they'd start reeking to high heaven after a few trips out (what with blood, fish sh** etc etc) that said it'd be no different to a pair of trainers...one of my reservations with the Gul ones was the thickness of the sole

...not keen on rigger boots for reasons peeps have already given

          Hmmmm

key point is waterproof...and with no metal lace eyes that will corrode
          Ooh a new vid!

Grenson's - elephant hide or antelope, no good on deck but look when you're hauled back in.

                          Yup - the 50lb

It feels canny and is a "round" braid

Yes they are divers boots, waterproof, non slip, warm, comfortable, non marking soles, and add flotation.
I've had mine a year now, they're perfect for the boat.
