          I use the neoprene divers type boot, with a side zip, they're really comfortable and non slip, made by Gul. Also got a cheaper pair from the tackle shop at Newbiggen before it closed for £2.00..

            If its full size wellies your after then these are canny ;

            Really comfortable and seem to cope with brambles and the like no bother if your out mooching about, handy in the snow aswell lol.

            "Grubs" do some similar that are good aswell.

                Yes thats them, cracking boot, also Crewsaver do them, you'll look the Bees Knees on board Slinky with them on, Norm will be really jealous... By the way if you get some get a size bigger than you take, i think they are meant to be used without socks..

                  Hi lads, I always swear by a decent pair of rigger boots, they are warm, have a decent grip, and I always get a size bigger just in case I fall in the drink, It would be quite easy to drop them off...

                    boots

                    im with tommy on the riggers,ive tried various footwear over the years,and have been on my backside more than once however theres a difference in what i do(gallopingaround a 40 foot steel boat looking after our valued customers) if i was on a private boat id be looking for summat softer and easier on the vessel

                      I agree with that LK.To be honest i dont really like the sound of riggers on a boat, i wear them on site and if they were fur lined, steel toed and i fell overboard i would'nt really like to think i had to take the time up trying to get them off when if i had something light on my feet i could use the time to try and get back to the boat. This is just my opinion lads, each to thier own.

                        Have to agree with Mr Neptune with the rig boots, cannot beat a pair of Redwings/Jellattes.
                        Does help when you get them issued twice a year mind !!!!!

                          i have a pair of royal navy steaming bats and they are superb. Totally non slip even on fish scales etc and they dont mark either.

                            boots

                            jester bonny lad a life jacket will support rigger boots and a lot more besides but as most people dont wear them at sea you make a good point as does tommy nepyune aboot getting bigger ones so as they float off in the drink

                              Yes LK, if you check the catch photo's, including mine, theres not many life jackets about. But if i go out alone i always wear one and my neoprene boots.
                              Besides riggers dont really go with a t shirt and shorts....
