    Open boat competition

    Due to the adverse weather forecast and on advice from the R.N.L.I., the Open Boat Competion scheduled for tomorrow (13th) has been cancelled.
    It is planned to try again for this event to be run in two weeks time and if there has to be another cancellation, the competition will be run as a Shore Competition in aid of the Newbiggin R.N.L.I.

    unbelievable that it has been cancelled three times, am away in two weeks time so will miss it, hope it goes ahead

      Allways tough trying to organise boat comps at this end of the world with the weather we get up here. Hope things pann out good in two weeks time. Thanks to Sam for all his efforts
