Mat buckley is here picking his £1000 cash up for winning the whitby charter skippers autumn festival on sea- otter 2 mat won with a cracking fish of 24lb 5oz a very well done to mat on the left is paul kilpatrick the skipper of the winning boat paul is also representing one of the sponsors glenn stocks who unforunatly couldnt make the presentation on the right is the manageress of mr chips janette which is the other sponsor of the autumn festival mr chips has sponsored this event from the very begining from the very first autumn festival i would like to say a very big thank you to our sponsors i would also like to mention the uptiding festival which starts on the saturday 4th of december and runs for 7 days there is a £1000 up for grabs the competition is the captor with the biggist cod over the week wins £500 plus there is £300 and £200 for 2nd and 3rd plus £100 per day for the 3 heaviest fish there is also a special prize for the heavyiest any other species over the week you can find a list of boat on the wcsa website which is Whitby Charter Skippers Association - Boat Fishing Trips buy the way the cod fishing has been lately it looks being one hell of a competition.
