  • Boat Missing!

Just heard on the news the lifeboats are out looking for a boat missing from the Tyne. I missed the name of the boat but they said the crew are two brothers in their twenties from Tynemouth.

Hope they are found safe and sound!

            Aye, Bri...let\'s all hope so.

Says in the Gazette tonight that the 2 lads are brothers in their early twenties (1 with an 18 month old bairn).

Can\'t imagine what the family must be going through.

Sad news...the search has been called off.

Reported on the local news that over 40 small fishing boats from the Tyne and ports all along the N.E. coast went out thismorning to assist in the search.

Heartbreaking end to a traumatic 24 hours for the family.

Would just like to let the familys of the 2 men lost at sea, know that i am thinking of them at this very sad time.
Also i think that is very good of all those who joined in the search to look for the lads! As well as all those pro\'s on land, sea and air.

If you didn\'t see the N.E. news on Tyne Tees tonight, you might find this had to believe.......not sure I woild\'ve believed it if I hadn\'t heard the Missions to Seamen spokesman and an RNLI rep saying it.........

Hopes were raised that the missing lads were ok when the search & rescue team spotted distress flares being fired in the South East end of the search area........after investigating they found that they\'d been set off from the shore to distract the rescuers

What sort of sick people are out there for Gods sake
