  • What rev counter you got ~#

As above wanted to know what revs me honda outboard was doing
so i bought one of these bad boys for 20 squid they work a treat .

battery last for 3-5 years .
easy to fit one wire to any earth on engine other wire wrapes round the ht lead to pick up pulses off the spark , realy easy .
    The earth lead -

the ht lead pick up wrapped 4 times real easy -

    The readings -

    15mph reading .

    Flat out 28mph - 6342 rpm .

The unit also has a service reminder and an hour counter which can both be
reset if you want to .

The info means i could if i wanted change the prop from a 10 pitch to a 12
and gain some economy and performance.

hope this is of some use to you lot .
    thanks for reading

The boat has a rev counter and a speedo, but at a max speed of 18 knots, i keep it to 15 knots, i dont really need one......If i still had the Reiver Sportsman i would have been interested.......
