17lb cod on the shad yesterday

Had a group of lads on from uttoxeter yesterday hadnt fished up north for quite a few years but they werent dissapopinted with what they found the shads once again fished extremlly well the lads were into the cod for most of the day till mid afternoon when once again the wind began to blow a hoolly the best cod nudged 17lb but the lads had a few around the 10lb mark and a lot between 3-6lb.



A video we shot a few weeks ago its a little dark as it was an early start 5 am .

Fingers crossed there will be one like that with my name on it when i eventualy get to whitby again cracking fish them shads seem to be doing ok
