  • Safe and Sound.

Well the boat arrived today at 12.30 :, and was i glad to see it . Even more pleased i didnt tow it up as it dwarfed the Landrover Discovery that was towing it. We had to wait an hour for the tide to come in a bit for the boat to float off the trailer as usual whenever i get a new boat it always seems to be big tides and low water, but all went well. I had a bit play in the river and what you lads said is right about reverse, but slow speed throttle response is really good and a good turning circle as well. Managed to get it onto the mooring ok without making any loud bangs Richy. All in all a really stressful day but but totally over shadowed when the boat was safe and sound on the mooring and i could stand back and admire it .

If you need any crew for her christening giz a shout hehehe, I would love to have something like that, but that money is beyond me at the moment.
I think my next upgrade will be a seahog trooper.

Couple of stiff whiskeys should settle things down Chris. Looking forward to photo's. Thought you bought a trailer to go and collect it, but thats saved you a long tow on very busy roads though also looking forward to your first fishing report. Nice one

Yes that was the boat that went down to the glass centre, 2 phone calls later and he found the ramp. Took a few photo's tonight just as the rain started and the light faded, hope you can see them ok.....Do you live in sunderland Codseeker, if so pop down no probs..

Yes i'll be watching the weather, 5 weeks without a boat, so if its rough at the weekend i'll be anchored in the river flattie bashing.....

well done. The boat looks lovely. I retire in 2 and half years and fancy a boat. It would be interesting to see how much all of your venture has cost-the boat looks expensive.

                              Cheers Mick.
