    Many Thanks to all for todays Mini Comp out of Royal Quays .....

    six boats were involved ...
    Tom Jones
    Shanka
    Lazy Daze
    Wor Lass
    Dream Catcher
    Slinky Kate

    with a total of 14 anglers taking part ........

    well the sun shined on us today (even if the giant fish didnt) ...
    everyone to my knowledge had a great day and is eagerly awaiting the next comp ... whooo hooo

    many thanks (once again) to Alan Charlton for his help in handling and officiating at the weigh in ...

    The results :-
    First Place - Kevin Blyth - fishing on board Wor lass with a codling of 6lbd 8oz
    Second place - Arthur Smeaton - fishing on board Lazy Daze with a codling of 5lbd 12oz
    Third Place - Bill Baxter - fishing on board Shanka with a codling of 5lbd 8oz

          Thanks Norman, you certainly found us a good days weather, and nice to meet you and Tony. We had a superb day with a few fish thrown in. Realy looking forward to the next one, as long as I don't make a prat of myself again running late and too fast up to the pontoon. Well done to Kevin with his winning fish. Arthur

            Always good to put faces to a name and have a bit of craic and banter in the process...fishing was hard but the weather made up for it

              Thanks fellas for a great day. Our first ever competition on the Tom Jones and the first time we've not had a single keeper on the boat!! Oh well there's always next time...

                  Thanks for organising it Norman, and well done with the weather you ordered too It was good meet up and put some name to the new faces as well as recognising one or two familiar ones from past exploits.
