  • Launch ramps

Well I got me boat and now just need to know where to launch it. Do we have a list of all the launches round here as I would prefer a none tidal one but really dont know where to start to look for them all and itching to go out in it.

    Thanks in advance

Joostan, the lad to talk to is Canman ( Arthur ) he lives up your way and launches at Cullercoats. Really nice bloke and a cracking photographer...

Hi Joostan,Good to hear you've got a boat, what make and style! I launch off the beach at Cullercoats as do quite a few others. If you launch 3hrs each side of low tide it's a whole lot easier as you can drive your car/4x4 onto the hard sand to launch/recover with ease. Not sure where the the next public ramp is on the Northumberland coast, I think it may be Seahouses. In all cases, you'll have to pay a launching fee, Cullercoats is about £46 a year, but you can pay daily, but thats not untill the lifegards station is open, May 1st I think!, as you will need a key to open the barrier. If anyone knows of anywhere else, let me know. Cheers, Arthur.
