if you mean the gentleman in the bible he was not as squeaky clean as he is made out to be, remeber what went into the bible was at the time the religious leaders thought they agreed with, many books etc by other profits where dumped on the floor. And their is also his missing years, which now looks as if he was studying at various Uni's on theology etc, of course they wouldn't do then what young lads do today. And far from being a carpenters son, it looks as if he came from a very wealthy family. Sadly I do watch a lot of National Geo and History propgs, better than mindless football, Eastenders, Corrie and other trash like that.

And in my post i do not say those who did not know he was drinking and not wearing the proper kit should not be shown sysmpathy, what i pointed out was it was his selfless stupity that put these people in that position, all my sympatht certainly goes out to them, but those who knew he had been drinking etc should also take some of the balme. No further comment will be made by me on the sublect.

PS it could quite well of been my son who got hurt or worse looking for him, as has happened in the past.

Seen this on the news & when they said no safety gear & alcohol i automatically blamed the people he was with (also him for geting in the kayak) but they should of stopped him!

Been into kayaking since i was a nipper (6-8yr old) & even now, with over 20 years experience would not even consider taking the risk of going on the pond in Mowbray Park, nevermind out to sea without a life jacket!

Must be a very bad time for the famillies, RIP x
