            Just got some rippers from me mate paul (bells tackle at wallsend)can you tell me why you use string line instead of rig body ? Cheers

              Dont know the proper reason but ive used plenty of his rippers and for one thing the twine minimises tangles.
              Bit more convenient for unhooking the fish aswell

                The reason I use corlene is if you get a decent Ling on it's harder for the Ling to bite through, so you don't loose your fish. I have never used mono on rippers and I never will. Chris
