Hi guys! just new to the forum! Seems like there is a lot of people feeling the same as i am, Chomping at the bit to get the old girl on the high seas for the new season but being hampered by the weather etc... frustrates the life out of me. But hey ho should only be a week or two now before a break in the weather and the spring cod are startin to run. Tight lines!

Hi Davy, Welcome to the forum. Yes, it shouldn't be long now for a good high pressure to move in and calm things down. Like you, i'm chomping at the bit seeing as the shore fishing has been so dissapointing. Cheers, Arthur.

                    welcome aboard.

aye, looks like the sea was a bit lumpy up there this week

saw this vid on the bbc news site:
BBC News - Huge waves strike Leith Docks in Edinburgh

got this from a mate, ironically the house is (was!) called fishermans cottage, on the waters edge by the harbour in Kirkaldy

the big seas were picking boulders up and throwing them about, a few hit the house!

                    Thought for the day:
Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but bring a smile to your face when thrown down the stairs

Converting an MFV Fifie trawler type thing.
