Norway Fishing

Have just received an email from the skipper who runs Jane-R a charter boat who runs out of Bergen in Norway during the summer (advert in Sea Angler). He has 2 weeks available may 7th and july 16th the week would include 6 full days/nights fishing and 7 nights full board on the boat. COst for the 7 days is £6600 and the travel for 3 cars and four occupants would be £1188 this gives a total of £649 PER PERSON. The only thing that i have not costed for is two nights in Bergen either side of the charter the ferry leaves newcastle on the 4th and returns there on the 17th of May. I recon this would cost no more than 750 per person which i dont think is bad for 7 days live aboard, 2 nights on a ferry and 4 nights in bergen.

Any takers - I only need another 11 anglers (2 which would also be willing to take their car over.

just got my divorce through £770 so the holiday would cost you 1400 (outwith any settlement made) - bargain.

I take it you did not get out today mate. If there is ever a spare place please let me know mate an i would be more than happy drowning some worms with you. LOL

RICH , went to the pelaw club discussion on thusday night about the norway boat fishing very informative and definately made me want to go, speak to colin or anthony think were going to try and go out there in 2006 [ thats how long it will take me to save up lol] 5 ppl so far interested possibly 6 ,,the cost would be in the region of 380 quid each now but probally a bit dearer in 2006 ,,imagine fishing in daylight at midnight and first light being 2.00am and a big cod on te end of ya rod ,sweet dreams lol

Put me down, but I tried to get some interest in a trip to Denmark with Fisho and it fell flat on it\'s arse through lack of interest

i am currently looking at alternatives as i dont think i will be able to fill a boat. will post findings on here. You got a new job now dave and are you still living in nottingham area.
