  • BLYTH CHARTER BOATS

Since Topcat and Roco are no longer operating out of Blyth, does anybody know of any charter boats that do?

If so, would you be able to provide any details? (check out the \"charter boats\" section for the sort of info needed).

Just trying to keep the info up to date.

Theodore II not running from Blyth anymore? Long, long time since I was last out on that one but I used to notice it out of the water in the winter when I walked to the pier.. Can\'t say I\'ve spotted it this year..

          Richy,
when I was sorting out boats for the RNLI comp earlier this year, I was told that TopCat was now working over on the West coast - not as a fishing charter, but related to offshore industry.

\"think it was me who told you tony\"........I think you\'re right there, Bob.
Sad to think that there are NO charter boats left at Blyth

Thats correct about Topcat not sure what happened to Rocco though,I have noticed a big Cat in the river and steaming out a few times but not sure if its contracted to the harbour or the windfarm company, its more or less the same as Dave\'s Topcat.Theres plenty of boats with fishing parties on going out from Blyth but i\'m not sure if they are liecenced etc
                Cheers Alan...

Its a shame, it was a nice boat that seemed to do well from reading the reports, i always fancied given it a bash but never did.
