A few of you may remember a problem i had with my boat , namely the oil filter could not not be changed because the engine was installed and the filter bowl on the Volvo is sat too close to the hull to unscrew . After several months a \" Remote\" kit arrived and the intrepid engineer turned up yesterday to fit said kit . After lifting up the engine and preparing the job it was found the kit was the wrong one :P . Being in the same game I\'m tickled at the very same excuses I would have used myself , its like the surgeon telling you he\'s amputated the wrong leg but the bad one is getting better . Watch this space for the next installment .

Best excuse I`ve come across (and it was only last week) was actually in conversation with our customer (Airbus) they explained how for a week they couldn`t use their treatments (anodising plant) because ............... a seagull landed in the chromic acid tank and contaminated the acid. ....... We do the same process and have similar tanks (18mtrs length) so that s a one in the bag for future use.

No i never seen it Norman, i was to stressed as its a right b***h to find the site. I spent most of my time looking over the royal mail airfields and in the office blocks of the RO section.

As you pass the Royal Mail building going toward Filton on A38 just as you get past the Building its straight across, they`re building a new hangar for it I think.
