Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but bring a smile to your face when thrown down the stairs

Converting an MFV Fifie trawler type thing.

Brilliant day all round. Not much on the first couple of drifts until I put out some groundbait (a special mix of toast, coffee and Mars bar LOL!) and then a steady stream of decent cod, coalies and mackerel and my whopper of a lobster (not a bad guess Gary, it weighed in at 5lbs!)

Between me and our Steven we had 9 cod (2.5 - 6lbs) 7 coalies (3-5lb) 13 mackerel, the 5lb lobster and a load of smaller fish that went back.
Would have posted last night, but I crashed out after I logged on! It\'s amazing how sore ripping with 16oz all day gets you!

Thanks to Gary, Keith and all the lads for a great day out, the next trip was being talked about before we even got back! Just waiting for Keith to post the lobster picture now?
