Starter motor /Solenoid overhaul

Just wondering if anyone could advise of any company that can overhaul a starter motor/solenoid from a yanmar 1 gm10 diesel, (I can buy a complete one off ebay for Ł120, but as recently unemployed I am trying the cheaper option first.)
