  • Yaking blyth!

Well i dont know his secret bait yet but i think Dave had plenty with him today! We launched about 9.30am for a few hours fishing from blyth to an inshore wreck and dave was straight in to the codling he had about 12 altogether ranging from about 2lb to 5lb
i even tied off the front of his yak but could only manage 2 coalfish. another angler called keith joined us but had nothing, only dave kept the fish coming in. keith moved off to fish another wreck further out.
Here are a few pics from today!

    Just add water!

I bet it's fun but with a lot to think of at the same time ,I remember seeing Tim out on his kayak and I thought how well organised everything was with every space used to the best effect ...

I take my hat off to the lads that do it .

What a buzz you must get when you hook your first fish ...and then when it gets to the surface you must think " right then how do I stay stable while unhooking the fish and having to store it as well "
You can take the lad out of Walker but .......

                      Hi Steve
You will be supprised how stable the sit on top kayaks are! plenty storage! and great fun as long as all the relevant safety gear is carried. i try to fish with as many yakers as i can(safety in numbers)
                      Just add water!
