    hi Jason

Work is very busy at the moment but hopefully should get a few weekends off this year to get the boat out weather permitting

Boat is out at the moment haveing a couple of jobs done and the annual antifoul

then it should be back in and ready to fly

early will be going well off to hit the wrecks should be starting at easter weather permitting

Does anyone know how much it is to keep a boat on the Headland at Hartlepool.

£620 is a lot of cash in your hands.

Mick £620 is cheap for a year in a marina

ask the guys who are at sunderland and the royal quays and whitby what they are paying then you will know what i mean

i think the berths at the headland are owned by the individuals

are you getting a boat mick ??

the hartlepool yatch club has some berths but you keep your boat there on a trailer and launch it when you want to go out
believe me i have done this before and never again

£620 seems fair to me...but then it would do, mine is £1800 this year at royal quays

the berths at kafiga and the boat club on headland are all privately owned and i beleive they pay around 2k per berth but may be wrong you can rent a berth of an owner for a mutually agreed fee, my mate used to have one for 400 per year that was for 30ft dont forget that the guys on this thread all have boats about 2/3 that length or less so 620 in the marina is not bad - but if going for a bigger boat kafiga is cheaper all round - i know over there they are a club or something.

620 is,nt to bad when i think about my maintenance i use to pay-that was 220 a month years ago.
I retire in a couple of years time and will have some time (and money) on my hands.
I always think it would be better living in Hartlepool to have a boat there. Mind Consett is only 30 miles away.
