Alan and Jimmy recon they had me down for 5th to barf, Showed them though, didn\'t I
Nobody put me in 5th place, Not even the mighty JFK.

I thought I had got away with it the first time, nobody seemed to notice, very discreet at the side of the boat, I should have known better with you\'s lot. Just pleased there was no cameras about.

Very nice of Alan not to take any money from us, I thought at least he would have wanted something for the diesel he used.

Not sure how I managed it on the way back in, but managed to fall asleep sitting on a 3\" ledge with my arms wedged behind the railings, I kept dreaming that crabs were trying to nip me, but I think that was Ian laughing and poking me and Keith trying to nick my floaty suit.

I would say well at least it was nice to get out........ But it wasn\'t. Ha Ha.

If there is another trip, I\'m not coming :-) .

Just jesting, Keep me in mind for the next.

I\'m ****ed off I missed the meet but obviously quite relieved I missed the rest. I\'ve NEVER lost me guts on a boat, in fact I\'ve probably only chundered about 4X in me natch (3 of those were pre-4 years old) I also hate the thought of it, absoltuley terrified. I\'m not alone, it\'s in the top 10 phobias I think. Stopped me from ever trying smack though so there\'s a plus I\'d have to be airlifted off if so much as hint of bile hit the back off me teeth. Failing that just tow me behind the boat out of earshot and my leave my nashing teeth on deck. I\'ve heard stories of Channel swimmers suffering sea-sickness and carrying on to the other side

Came along the coast tonight from work,it looked canny inshore but if you looked hard enough further out there was a canny sea running, hard luck lads always next time !
A few of the lads at work are going out on The Mistress on Fri afternoon.I think that will be looking a bit suspect now.
          Cheers Alan...

              Alan,
The lads may well get out, m8.
Just got back in from Shields Pier after using up my unused bait from thismornings trip out........sea was FLAT......

Are you going out on Mistress, Alan?

If so, give Tony my regards......haven\'t had a chance to speak to him for ages.......He\'s a really nice bloke !!

Ell, that\'s the 1st time I\'ve even felt a little queezie when out on a boat......it\'s not a nice feeling, but once it was up, I was fine. I remember the Amble comp, last year.......a guy on our boat (Mistress, as it happens), was ill from the 1st drift \'til we headed back in (several hours later). The day flew by for me, but it must\'ve seemed like a lifetime to him. Never having experienced seasickness before, I can now appreciate what that bloke must\'ve gone through.

No way has it put me off, though..........looking forward to the next trip out, already...........anybody wanna sort one out ????

I turned up in summer gear after reading all the forecasts. TC & son started donning loads of wet gear at Mill Dam & I was thinking \"aren\'t they overdoing things a bit ?\" once we left the Piers & got owa the bar I realised immediately how wrong I was
I stood at the back of the boat & got drenched by splashes as the boat rode the waves (didn\'t I TC )
I think that Northerly swell tricked us all by washing down the coast. Alan said it wasn\'t forecast & looked \"sick\" as he explained to me. I think he knew straight away that we wouldn\'t be out long but did his best. He\'s a top bloke with a gr8 sense of humour. To stand there takin the p**s out of us as we got thrown about was gr8
I think the bookies will hate me as I was odds on to chuck 1st but held on to beat the odds, LMAO
The trick is to NOT have any breakfast until your out there & know it\'s safe to eat
I\'d love another chance to get out there but will stand down & give someone else a go as I went on the last 2 trips. Let me know if there\'s a place gannin spare if u book another trip, TC

PS: I think the kids had the benefit of a lower centre of gravity, LOL

PPS: I reckon it would be a good idea to swap phone numbers for the next trip out to save any disappointments. Ell (& anyone else) PM me ya mobile number

if you dont eat anything and you then try to puke it hurts like hell.best to eat something lite an hour or two before you go then if you do have to puke you can do with out retching your guts.

That\'s the way I look at it, Ken.
If you\'re gonna bring something up, it\'s best that there\'s something there to come up, otherwise, as you say, it can AND DOES knack ya guts

Took the dogs along the beach tonight... Sea flat as a, Well whatever you want it to be as flat as. Surfers were complaining, there was even people going out in kayaks. It was lashing down though.

And found this silly bugger, said the water was really warm, YEAH!

That sea state looks a hell of a lot better than Wednesdays.

Got a phone call from Alan Skinner this morning, he\'s managed to conjure up 2 place for tomorrow.

So me and Mr. Brown\'s out after the biggies, although if he beats his Cod PB I\'ll be well miffed.

Will report back how it goes.
As my dad used to say....Man who go to bed with itchy bum......wake up with stinky finger!!!
