ʎɐqǝ uo pɹɐoqʎǝʞ ɐ ʎnq ı ǝɯıʇ ʇsɐן ǝɥʇ sı sıɥʇ.

    Thought for the day:
Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but bring a smile to your face when thrown down the stairs

I did the course today. Its quite easy and half of the exam at the end in mulitple choise. It was strange setting an exam again though 22 years after doing my O-levels.

The course learned me a lot and I would urge anyone with a VHF but no license to do the course. The DSC part was every good and it learns you how to use all of the functions on the radio.

Hope it taught you more than the skipper of Pansy

"Aberdeen coastguard, Aberdeen coastguard this is Pansy"

"Pansy this is Aberdeen coastguard state your position - over"

"Aberdeen coastguard, our current position is x,y and even z - over"

"This is Aberdeen coastguard Pansy, could you repeat your postion" - over

            Repeat above

"This is Aberdeen coastguard ........... Err Pansy your last position locates you on runway 5 of Aberdeen Airport, do you need the coastguard or Air Traffic Control"

"Aberdeen coastguard, this is Pnasy, Air traffic control would be a bonus as we are taking off every 4 seconds but a lifeboat might be a better idea! - over"

"Pansy , this is Aberdeen coastguard, we're standing by - over"

            Me "Cheers m8"
