Ali-Cat Ling Fest. 07-09-14

Big Ling Hunt on The Ali-Cat out from Hartlepool Yesterday. Davey, The Skipper put us on them from the off. My Mate pulled a 22lber in after loosing a "bigger 1" There were a load of good Ling caught. I ended up with about 15 from 6lb-13lb. Returning 5-6 in the same bracket. My best was a beauty at 18lb. Tried to change tactics for some Codling with no prevail. Great Craic on Boat today with some great lads.

Yes Steve, it was a great day out, shame Dave was a bit poorly.
Echo what you have already wrote, fish from the off and steady away all day long, and yup! the banter was second to none, I was in the corner next to John, our crew for today, who tried his best to Gaff??? Gaff???? Gaff my fish.
Never seen as many Ling for many years, all in great condition and very good size.
Hope your Nan enjoyed her Cod.
Might see you again before long, still got 7 trips to go.
