Had a run out of Hartlepool on sunday aboard TJ Gannet with the county house crew, ended up a good few mile off on the wrecks which proved to be a little empty of fish, with only a couple of us having anything worthwhile, with Don Ridden taking a ling of about 11lb and myself a 5lb Pollack, around about dinner time the skipper decided to head to some rough ground well offshore, putting us onto some decent whiting and a few undersize ling, then bingo Dave Brock hooked and landed a lovely 12lb cod a very nice fish from the hard ground and should stand him a chance of taking the boats heaviest cod this year and will yield him the money accrued to date, so good luck dave with this one, very good skipper continued to search for us all day and certainly got a full days worth, so cheers and thanks to him regards korky (county house).
