Looking at the forecasts the next few days are going to be good for getting out in the boat What are the chances the forcasts will be right? Assuming they are somewhere near right and I can get out off Amble , what should I be targeting at this time ? Wrecks? Hard ground? Cod? Ling?
Surely at least one of the next few days will deliver
Wrecks until end of Oct at least, i tried the rough ground last week and the water had so much sand and colour in i never got a bite, went on the wrecks and hit alsorts.
Weather does look canny, hoping to have 4 days at it this weekend.
Fished 3 hours today between the 1mile and 4 mile marks...only 4 mackerel and i tried for about 1hr... water dirty so sure they be further out but very poor inland with nothing special..never fished the wrecks just sand banks and ground etc....normal species caught nothing over 3lb
I'm out Saturday Sunday Monday Tuesday .... if the weather is anywhere near what is being forcast , I've got a couple of wrecks marked out in my plotter but at least one of them is heavily fished . I'll have to check out a few more whilst the seas are flat and see if I can find a secret one
I'd rather spend the time fishing but hey ho , walk before you run and all that.
