  • collecting new boat tomorrow

    Well i am heading out at silly o clock in the morning ( slinky and shadey will probally have been fishing for hours though )and going south to collect the project boat, should be a bundle of laughs as with the trailer it weighs 3480kg, just 20kg below the maximum towing weight ( 3500kg ), will be a long ride up the m6, then A66, i can just imagine the what names the people stuck behind me will be calling me
    all things being well it should be safely at royal quays after tea time....will post the pics on sunday

    Lets hope its not as long as last time or you will be sick.

      You will be fine Bob when they get passed you they will only be stuck behind a lorry or two so you will not be the only one getting called lol.

            journey was no bother, but bloody hell it was heavy to tow, it's safe in it's new home for the winter project ( royal quays boat yard ), theres nowt wrong with it what a bit gaffer tape and sikaflex wont sort out....pics to follow
