    Hi Mark,

As promised we checked our data for the numbers you gave.

The mark is down as a \"position approximate\" on most charts for a wreck. The wreck is positioned on some great hard ground known as Hendon Rock.

You need to be very careful when you fish this mark as we went over it at high tide to check it out and at some points there was ony 4metres between surface and peaks so don\'t fish it when there is a swell.

I don\'t know how consistently productive this mark will be so close to the shore but I\'d put money on it that this would be a great place to drop anchor near in the winter and cast into it with big baits.

    Hope this helps,
    Jeff.

we went over it a few times, from different angles and it seems a monster combination of wreck/ground. there were huge shoals showing all ower it as well.

it was just a little choppy when we went over it but the bounce factor didn\'t half increase when right on top, so would like to be there with a big swell!

next nice calm day we get, we might try anchor on top and give it a go.

there was a few other boats out bit they were all half to threequarters of a mile SSE of us so guess there\'ll be summats there as well to explore

    cheers for the coinfirmation though

    Thought for the day:
Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but bring a smile to your face when thrown down the stairs

Converting an MFV Fifie trawler type thing.

      Mark,

Yes the area you describe SSE of there is good hard ground. We anchor over it in the winter.
