  • Short midweek trips

Taken from Mr Charlton's article in the Journal:

"Tyne boat Mistress is taking evening parties which are quite productive. These start at 6.30pm and run on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at £12 a head. To book call Billy’s tackle on (0191) 259-6262."

Ideal for anyone wanting to try boat fishing for the first time.
    Cheers, Keith.

Nice one Keith, I might just hunt out my gear and give it a try mate. I will have to get some more of that brightly coloured mussel out though if I want another double lol

just reminded me that I've left the bucket with squid and mussel on the back step since saturday ...could be very smelly indeed

This sounds like a quality idea though for those wanting a short trip out duringthe week

Those sort of trips are canny. When i go to seahouses for a week in the caravan i go out for a couple of hours with the macky bashers. Just nice to get out and drop a pirk down the side looking for cod.
