    what is the going rate for a days fishing from a chartered boat. i phoned a lad from sunderland and he siad 25 quid is that about right. any info would be appreciated.

    Can't say for certain but I think you'll be looking at least £30 these days with the price of fuel.

      Alan Skinner last year was quoting £30 a head...I'd guess he's prob gone up a bit, but poss not too much...

      ...then there's your leads, bait, rigs etc etc

        ive just booked with alan skinner on the jfk which is costing £35 i think its a fair price as diesel prices have gone throught the roof

          I usaully go to whitby on sea otter 2 last year was paying 42.00 but hey got my money worth i had cod in doubles ling to 20lb even haddock.i think theres only one charter from sunderland and it is 25.00.but doe'snt matter what you pay, if fish are there or not,still be a good day for 25.00 you know.

              Eddie is the boat ya on about skippered by a lad called paul ? if so i think he charges £25 but it think its only 6-7 hours

              We are out from whitby this sunday 22nd on "sea otter 2" costing us £42 but thats for 10 hours with Paul Kilpatrick
