Anyone fancying a bash at coarse fishing then get along to Aldi. They have some cany rod holdalls £9.99 only 1.5 metres long but not bad for the money, would do for sea rods as well. Good umbrella for £9.99. Fishing shelter for £5.99, looks a bit femmer but still keep the chill off. Excellent rod pod for £19.99, plastic coated steel with lift bite indicators. Box of plugs and spinners £7.20, not the best but canny for mackeral. Couple of good books at £3.99. I bought the coarse one as I fancy trying it, getting a bit sick of sea fishing if I'm truthful. Excellent book very imformative with good photos. Couple of rods and reels as well, not up to much but canny for kids or light use. Waders and bags. Stuffs cheap but like most stuff at Aldi it's not bad, bacon and hams cracking as well, actually tastes like ham used to. No I don't work there

They still had quite a few pairs left in the Metro Centre Aldi on Monday when I was down there. I think the new stuff goes on the shelves on Thursday so if you're interested, it would probably be worth a look today to see whether there's anything left. I picked up a rod bag, one of those nifty little tackle bags and a box of cheapo lures (for less than the price of a single Rapala)!
