  • Hydraulic Oil

anyone know a cheap source (as opposed to netto ketchup which is cheap sauce and doesn't taste as nice as hydraulic oil) for some of the slippery stuff

she got a big tank and needs topping up

25 litre drum or 2 maybe??

If all else fails, we could always syphon some out of the Millennium bridge I suppose, they'd not miss it

I'll ask at work tomorrow Mark, do you know what grade / viscosity you need?
    Cheers, Keith.

comes in ISO VG 10, 22, 32, 46, 68, & 100 we found it made quite a difference which one we used when messing about with the steering on Shady.
        Cheers, Keith.

              Akshually...

might be a good time to ditch the lot an replace it all maybe??

whats in the tank is fairly opaque, looks a bit like lentil soup, so maybe past its best anyway

the words "Lentil" and "Soup" go together like "Shoite" and "Sandwich" - And I know which one I'd rather eat - MMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Bread!!!!!!!

Cannot remember lol, Bert ended up ditching the pump & tank and bought a new hydraulic helm.
                  Cheers, Keith.

I'll not be able to liberate that much from work but I'll ask one of the buyers to get a price for you.
                    Cheers, Keith.

orange just wasn't my colour though (and I like eating dead things)

Yes I have eaten Lentil Soup at one stage in my life I even cooked brown rice for a lass (once) Never again - will tommy die for you - never never never again - Upstart moment there. Aye pulses do have a role in society but they need to know there place - way below fillet steak and king edward cigars in the scheme of things.
