  • money for old rope??

well new rope needed, anyone good, local and cheap for rope?? want a couple hundred metres 16mm or 18mm for Pansy.

Anchor rope basically, there 100metres of chain (I think) so need a rode to go with it, there's some deep bits to break down over this weekend!

12 mm will be nowhere near enough for a boat of that size and weight mark, we used to use 40 - 50 mm Doubled up when attaching to chains for our moorings,,,,,, and we were only 32 ft.

                nope, but 16 will be!

we've 45mm for the mooring lines already, 14 or 16mm rode for the anchor will be plenty

You can give John Kessons lifting a try. They are based in Low Walker tel 01912652593. That's where my brother gets all his rope for his fishing boat.
                  Cheers
