Anything from Greys is good gear.

I bought a 12lb-20lb rod last year. Forget make, but used with braid you can feel every knock.

    Mick.
Personal best, 12.5lb Tope Scotland. 22/05/2012.

      might be inclined to disagree....

snapped 3 greys prodigy carp rods in a row, first time out with each one, each one breaking in the same place

didn't bother taking it back the last time, thought whats the poimt

Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but bring a smile to your face when thrown down the stairs

Converting an MFV Fifie trawler type thing.

Greys gear used to be excellent until they started getting it mass produced in taiwan. The lifetime gaurantee sounds great untill i found out they are actually still making a huge profit on the handling fee of 25 pounds as most of there rods dont cost this much to make in the first place

I have it on very good authority they are paying between $4 and $12 a rod
