starting to gather stuff together for "pansy - the voyage" home, which may well involve a couple of nights at sea, at least 5 miles off but maybe upto 40-odd miles off as well, which will be 'interesting' as

the list is getting quite big, but just wanted to see if anyone had suggestions for anything we've not thought of. we've got an 8 man liferaft, 10 Mae west lifejackets and 4 gas inflation ones, offshore flare pack, anchor and 200metres of chain, fisfinder (garmin 100, basic but works), dsc vhf, non dsc vhf, koden 48 mile radar, chartplotter with c-map mega wide charts, pc with plotter software and full chart pack, handheld vhf, handheld gps.... a bucket and a bath tub

also putting together a few bodge and fix kits (gaffa tape, bodge, plugs, cable ties etc)

anyone got any suggestions as to must have kit??

Damage at sea training in the RN always seemed to involve mattresses and pieces of conveniently shaped triangular pieces of wood that could be wedged into conveniently shaped holes...so if you get hit by a torpedoe, make sure the holes are conveniently shaped
