    Those big halibut keep popping here at whitby barry kemper fishing on sea-otter 2 got his fish of as lifetime you dont need to go to norway to catch fish of this calibre.

        wow, lovely fish, you have a few pop up down your way Paul, makes you wonder if its worth a sesh trying to nail them. spot on, well done to the angler, i bet he was shot when he got it to the gaff.

            I hope the freezer is big enough, looks like he will be eating halibut for a while . Well done that man.

              lovely fish well done, surprised we don't get one or two up here. had the odd small one 11/12lbs but a good 15-20 years ago.but with all the inshore shadding going on these days think you would see odd ones caught.

                  Cheers guys a lovelly fish we got him only 3 miles from the shore my last one a couple of years ago which went 37lb was similar distance its the deep water close in at whitby which draws them the lad who caught it did a fantastic job landing it clutch set it would smashed him if he hadnt the lad deserves a medal hopefully one or two more to be had this summer its funny though you just never know when its your turn.
