Stunning day out and not a bad price. Great scrappers as well.

I am lucky enough, that the girlfriend in from Ireland so get out about 6 or so times a year on the west coat in Donegal bay. The fishing there is sensational mainly over reef and rocks as very few wrecks. I tend to find the pollock and coalie are very common, ling next and a few cod.

Out of the North West ports the tuna is very hit and miss, they spend a couple of weeks trolling a year. The tuna can not be landed otherwise €500 fine. Top boat is prospector 1, the mosy roomy fishing deck for a thirty somethig footer I have seen. Makes some forty footer look small.

Think you need a license to land them

            Hello James
That was something I read somewhere so contacted the Skipper and this was his reply.
Lets hope due to global warming they make their way north.

            thanks for your enquiry.
regarding the tuna , we can take as many as we want.however because they are large fish we usually restrict ourselves to two or three per person
            regards
