  • RoyD Lures

Going on from Jeffs report last week of the succes they had on the Volante using RoyD shrimp lures AND from the results experienced last weekend by many others, you may have some difficulty in being able to get hold of them in the tackle shops........eh, Bob.....lol

I\'ve just come accross their website and have posted a link to it (see the On-Line Dealers section in the weblinks). They are a South Shields based manufacturer and you can buy direct from them if you can\'t get hold of their products in the shops.

Just thought it might be worth thinking about with the comp fast approaching

Thanks TC....the way this Guy\'s lures catch in May and June is quite remarkable. I don\'t know Roy so this isn\'t a plug!!

I was introduced to these by Andy Toward on the Tallisman and subsequently me and the other lads from the Volante bought over 1000 jelly\'s in the winter to prepare rigs for now. The skipper just went to Roy\'s house in Sheilds and he kept a large amount of stock.

I\'ve also mentioned to the people in ID South Sheilds about the success of these lures and to advise their customers to buy them. I know they bought some stock.

I\'ve got to be in for some free gear from RoyD by now!!! (hope he reads this).

Please also note anyone reading this that I haven\'t used bait on these lures.

    Cheers,
    Jeff.

Hi Jeff , my house is used in connection with the business for office purposes, not for storing stock which is held in our unit at Newcastle. I had presumed your friend was in Shields and arranged collection here.
The lures you mention are in short supply which will hopefully be rectified within the next 6 weeks. I think Billy in North Shields and Frasers in Gateshead have the last remaining stock localy availlable, until then.

Thanks Norman but owt over a half inch swell makes me as sick as a dog . The last time I was out ( which was only for half an hour ) when I got home I couldnt stop the toilet from swaying in 45 degree turns. Mind you I reckon it was at least a forty foot swellin that day .

Dunno if it WAS banning (I need a REALLY GOOD reason to resort to that).

Anyway - good to have you with us on the Board, again
