    hi Paula
There\'s a chap in another fishing forum I am in and he has just moved up to the North west Highlands from Kent and was looking for some fishing spots between the GAIRLOCH AND KINLOCHBERVIE. I don\'t know exactly where he has moved too, but I believe you live up North somewhere, any idea\'s for the chappie next door.

Going up to Scotland on Friday myself for the weekend.
May the holes in your net be no larger than the fish in it.

      Hi blackvelvet,
sorry, he has moved up to the west side of the highlands, we are at the far north, more or less where the north sea meets the atlantic ocean (well about 20 miles west of that) so i can\'t comment on where he should go.
if i do find out i will let you know.

ok, may be this ought to go in shore fishing so i will post it there too, but as blackvelvet asked on here i will reply here aswell.
if i have got the right place, on the west coast just north of ullapool is a place called ALTANDHU if you fish off the pier there you are fishing into 300ft of water straight away more or less and subsequently get all the species associated with that depth from the pier instead of using a boat.
            hope that helps you blackvelvet.
