    Guess nobody will be fishing but I'm giving my rib it's big launch midday since I refurbed it. Looks nice and snotty so will put it through its paces and see what she's got!

    Hope all goes well mate, the ribs will take a good sea in the right hands but take care it looks a confused sea out there...

      Couple boats I was trying to get on are not going out due to weather .... Good luck with your launch

        Yeah will be careful mate, launching at 12 but will be out on Blyth Rnli d class in morning so will have good idea wots going on, been looking fwd to this, a lot of money and time spent on doing her up, upgraded everything and glassed new deck, console and rear jockey seat in , full rewire and a lot more!

              I just looked at the pics on the boat owners section, it looked a great rib before you had done the work on it, so it must be a beauty now...

              The Atlantic 85 at Sunderland RNLI is a cracking RIB....

                4.5 metres pushed with 90hp should be fast 35+ knots on calm day, need to play about with weight distribution a little and get to know the boat , mate has 5m Humber with same 90 yam and he sent the photo of it hitting 43knts in the Solent so look fwd to the summer seas.

                  That's going some ! I guess it depends on the conditions ... I went fishing in a rib a few years back ... Was so nervous inflatable and hooks ect ... Was suprised how durable it was .... A nice fishing experiance

                    Good luck for the launch mate, hope everything runs well. It's 8am and looking out the window and the fog here at Cullercoats is thick, so wouldn't venture too far.
