Sean do you live in Leeds. Hartlepool seems a long journey. Or are you moving back. I am originally from Hartlepool but now live in Consett. Settled up here now but sometimes miss me home town. Especially when fishing.

      hi micky

i currently live in dubai but my home is leeds and we are now selling our home in leeds to move further north and be near the boat and sea

having the boat in the marina will help when i get home so as it will be easier just to hop on and go fishing

ooh cant wait till i get home on the 14 as it will be cold lovely cold weather

Nice one Sean, good to see you got boat sorted.
Mate of mine (ours) boblydon often used to travel down to hartlepool and stop the night, may be just a chance some of the tyne lads might fancy a night out in hartlepool next summer ...... lol

              thanks

              thanks for the replies lads

good to see bob making an appearance again

well as for living in dubai its ok for a holiday but working out here is a real experience but after the time i have spent here i would not want to live here for ever

the boat well this has been one long story but it is now at a boat builders that has a lake and the prop should be sorted (right size) and when i get home for my xmas holiday it will be transfered to hartlepool marina and if we get a calm day then out to sea we go

i am realy looking forward to the move as when i get my holls from work i can fly direct into newcastle and be home by the sea in around 30 mins and only ten mins from the boat

will hopefully get some catch reports on as well

                Sean,

Its the "if we get a calm day" bit you may be struggling with.

According to the weather forecast we are due one on february 27th....

Its just that they did not make it clear as to which year they were talking about

                Cheers

                  just one calm day

at the title says just one calm day and out we go

It will depend on weather how for and where we go but it will either be close in and uptiding or well offshore hoping to find clear water.

Sean it must be the heat. We have a lad who emigrated to the U.K from Australia and he ended up joining the police. We call him Matt Bartsch. He married a lassie Gateshead way and he has settled here. I was saying to him the other day are you crackers coming from Aussie to the UK. He said (in an aussie accent) Mick when its forty plus every day you don,t miss it.
I could,nt stand that. I love the cold breeze on my face.
