  • what type of boat is this????

    can any of you boat lot tell me what sort of boat this is?, my guess is a old coble

          its ok mikcy m8 just trying to sell it on ebay but not quite sure what type of boat it is.

                Seen a few ex-ships lifeboats that are "pointy" at each end.

                      My money is on it being a llifeboat too...did a google image search on "sailing lifeboats"...

                        it may be but all the bits and bobs inside on the deck seem to be fishing related and if you look at the pic the mast set up seems difarent

                          I think it could well be a Foy boat, they used to be well known on the Tyne for carrying goods, provisions, and mooring lines to the bigger boats. It is very similar to the one in the Discovery Museum
