  • Weymouth in Dorset.

Hey lads got a phone call at work today. One of the lads in the national police boat angling championship is unavailable from the 4 man team so my old mate Dave Lyall the sea fishing club secretary at work asked if i wanted to go.
Checked with her indoors and its A-O-K.
We go on Mon 8th Oct and the competition is on Wed 10th Oct.
Presentation night on the same night by the chief constable of Dorset police.
Return home on the 11th Oct.
Its times like this that my faith is restored.

Dave reckons the fishing down south is different to up here. Hounds and Skate are the order of the day with worm baits.
Lets see if i can get a PB.

    Mick.

                            Well done mick,

If you think you will after tope I could send you a trace or two. Frankly the majority of the shop bought ones are not up to much. The Greys ones have the wire TIED direct to the nylon for example.

Recently got an invite to go on a shark survey a bit further afeild next june which has me a bit excited...its nice to fish somewhere different.

                            Cheers
                            Dave.
