has anyone used the above reel? and is it good for use on a boat for wrecks etc

Was out on sunday on a penn sponsored boat. Gave me a chance to use a Penn 225
335
and a 975ld

They all performed brilliantly on fish up to 40lb with the 975LD being the absolute pick of the bunch. Its intresting to note that the skipper has had the 335's for 9 years and they get used every day and they have never needed a service. The level winds do get oiled every day though and there is a pin in the level wind which needs annual replacement.

All his reels get a free annual service but he has never had to send a 335 back in 9 years. Not a bad recomendation for the whole range and I have to say in comparison my new shimano charter special seemed agricultural by comparison.
