It's amazing how much warmer it feels when you are catching fish, and how much colder it feels when you are not, I used to do a lot of winter pike fishing , never felt the cold when the pike were feeding

When we were in Norway earlier this year, our boat had a few marks/waypoints from previous users. Given that it was quite cold during our July visit, I was surprised to see that some of the GPS waypoints had been installed in the months Dec/Jan. The Northern airports are shut during the winter months so I'm inclined to think it's only the locals who are fishing just now. That guy's floatation suit looks a few tog ratings above ours but it makes me shiver just looking at him.Comment
